Florida Keys flats fishing is like no other experience in the world. Sight fishing is a combination of hunting and fishing in the shallow waters of the flats. We'll stalk fish in the gin-clear waters of the Keys for our main quarry, bonefish, permit, and tarpon. However, there are other sporting species to be found, such as redfish, jacks, barracuda, and sharks.
Lower Keys fly fishing affords world-class fishing just minutes from the dock. Shallow Water Charters is located in Cudjoe Key at Mile Marker 21, but I charter Lower Keys fishing trips from Key West and the Marquesas to Big Pine Key and Marathon.
Newcomers, experienced anglers, and all skill levels in between are welcome. I have fished the Lower Keys for many years, so I have the experience and patience to make your trip a success. Although I specialize in fly fishing, I am adept in spin fishing with light tackle and have all the necessary gear. As I navigate the shallow flats, you'll witness an abundance of wildlife below and above the water's surface.
