Species: Sea Trout

Sea Trout

Sea Trout are primarily a winter target, however they can be found well into the Spring. They forage in the basins of the backcountry. They will take a fly or jig and can be a fun alternative to the flats when the weather isn't conducive to flats fishing. They're also tasty table fare when in season. They are usually in the four pound range, but the state record is 17 pounds, 7 ounces.
